key fob programing

I have a 2003 Ford E450 with a 2004 Coachman body. I bought 2 key fobs from Ebay. I tried every method to get into the program mode from Youtube videos. Off to On 8 times & the door locks open & ready to be programmed is the standard method.
This camper does nothing. I tried door open -door closed- seat belt on-foot on brake. All of them. I read that companies to save nickels & dimes don't hookup lots of things. The key that came with the m/h is just a standard key no chip. Any secrets?

thank you Dave

Have you checked the batteries in the key fobs?

My daughter has a newer F250 and they replaced two keys just last week. It required Ford to do the programming. Luckily, she knew the guy that odes it for Ford and he gave her a deal.

Are you sure any of the things you are trying to connect are designed to operate with a fob. If the keys that came with it aren't electronic the coach may not have electronic features. I assume it's a C class as it's on an E450 so the doors should lock and unlock, but that is not guaranteed and little else would be fob controlled.

I don't think the standard E450 came with the key fob option. That is why your key has no chip.
