Our capitalistic society is governed by supply and demand. I suspect the Keystone BOD has looked at the big picture of the past 2-3 years, motor fuel supply and demand, and what the near future(inflation) has in store in making that decision.
The RV industry is the first to feel the effects of inflation.

If you were to travel to the heart of RV manufacturing in Indianna, companies like Keystone, have plants all over the state and open and close them as supply and demand goes up and down.

We've been on the road for close to 3 months. The number of RVs for sale at dealerships across the country has been over the top. Never seen so many new RVs waiting to be sold. And that has been consistent over the 4000+ miles of our trip. I've also noticed a few ads for RVs that are being heavily discounted. I suspect things are slowing. Could be the cost of fuel but it's hard to imagine the significant increase in RV sales over the past 2 years could be sustained indefinitely.

I’m not surprised in the least. After a 2000 mile Road trip 6 weeks ago all the rv lots we passed were full of rv’s for sale.

Mostly everything will ebb and flow.
Before COVID, RV sales were stagnant. During COVID, things picked up. After COVID and with high fuel prices, sales of RV’s may slow. If fuel prices return to normal, sales may increase, etc.
This is just how I see it.

Before Covid Rv sales were far from stagnant. RV sales set records a couple of years before Covid.
In fact RV sales were on a boom for 10 years.
