Check the Canadian recall list as it foes have different model #s that are recalled. I had one supplied with MH that was on the Cdn list but USA form would not accept it and Cdn form would not let me put in a USA address. Had to find a Cust Svc # to speak with a real person that took care of it.
Be sure to save the recalled ones as you will need to return it when new is rec'd. EZ process using same packaging and prepaid label. Just need to call FedEx to arrange pickup.

The two fire extinguishers that I had that were on the recall list and that I submitted for replacement came in today. That was fast.
They sent return labels to send the recalled extinguishers back to them.

The two extinguishers that I just received came with new holders which I am happy about.
The extinguisher in my MH has a holder built into the couch and I'm replacing the couch. Now, I'll be able to mount the new extinguisher on the wall by the new couch.

On Edit: I just reread your post and I misunderstood. I see that you are looking for an extinguisher that will fit the existing holder.

While on the subject of extinguishers: If anyone has one of any brand that does not have a gauge on it "Throw it away"
Only carry quality ones that you can check the pressure.
A 3A10BC is a good starter size to carry.

1) (Most) recalled Portable extinguishers have the PLASTIC HANDLE AND VALVES; 2) NOT all plastic handle extinguishers are affected by RECALL; 3) ALL portable extinguishers should be inverted and shaken vigorishly every 6-12-months and replaced or serviced every 5-yrs; 4) New extinguishers at Costco/ Sam's in both sizes have METAL vales and handles and can be SERVICED/ REFILLED; 5) They will NOT service/ refill extinguishers w/ PLASTIC, as service companies say they (OFTEN) leak down after service. 6) Gage on all should be INPSECTED monthly FOR GAGE IN green AREA. Hope this helps.

Our daughter (USCG) did a "boarding" on our RV. Told me our fire extinguisher needed replaced.

It had been recalled.

If it hadn't been for her, I probably would not have checked it.

Careful with the advice to shake dry chemical extinguishers.
In a nutshell advice is DO NOT SHAKE.

See following for details if you doubt what I post
https://wpv-cert.org/Learn/Resources...inguisher-Myth

I am a USCG / USPS Certified vessel safety examiner and we used to discuss and advise shaking until a notice from USCG advising us to discontinue the advice.
My take is I would not shake it unless the mfg instructions specifically recommend it.

Hope it was just a 4100 boarding and not looking for contraband.
