King Beds in RV's, putting on sheet strategies

Like many RV's these days, our's has a king bed. We love it for sure but my wife had a spinal fusion with hardware, I've had a lumbar fusion in the past, and couple that with the aging process and making this bed is not easy. Like most RV's the top of the mattress is squeezed in pretty tight between small night stands. Also, we have an inner spring mattress to which we added a 3" memory foam topper. It is really comfortable but heavy. My DW is a retired nurse and she has high bed making standards....sheets gotta be tucked and tight, hospital corners. We pull the mattress away from the top, and struggle to lift one end at a time to get the fitted sheet on.

So, just wondering what others do or have done. We can't be the only folks with this issue since I see a lot of old poots like us in RV's. A much lighter mattress might help but I am not familiar with lighter weight mattresses.
