Kitchen drain flexes in Grand Design 310GK

Looking for peace of mind. When the P-trap is off, the ABS line to the grey tank seems to have a lot of play or wiggle. I had assumed that it would be a very rigid line between the P-trap and the grey tank. I'm thinking maybe it is the distance from the access hole in the floor to the grey tank that is allowing the flex, or that it is the flex in the grey tank itself and the length of the pipe that is allowing the flex. Or maybe a rubber boot and clamp at the tank. At the level of the P-trap connection the pipe can wiggle left or right about two inches and up or down about one inch. Insulation at the access hole is dry. Do I have anything to be concerned about?

I can't say all models, but most RV's the pipe that goes into the top of both the black and grey tank are a slip fit through a rubber ring. This gives the heavy tanks (when full) some flexibility, so they don't break the fitting at the tank.

Thanks. That makes sense. If it is a snug, slip-fit, I would think there is opportunity for some leakage (maybe just a little) if the tank was completely full, but we never allow the tanks to get to that stage.

While changing our kitchen cold water dispenser, I saw some evidence of past water leaking around the sink drain P trap fittings. Some toilet paper applied to the fittings confirmed. I tightened the connections and no more leaks. Those fittings should just be snug but not overly tight.

You're more likely to force overflow up the vent tube than past the seal.

Most of my drain pipes seem to have some sort a clamp and pretty ridgid . I don't think floppy would be good. Worst case it would wiggle off compression type fittings and leak under sink in cabinet, they are not exactly strong.
