The website: Kroger financedoesn't mention the gas discount at Kroger stations, but the in-store brochure states it on the front page.

Of course this only works if you pay each outstanding monthly balance.

I bought gas at Krogers in Lynchburg, VA 1 1/2 years ago. I was on fumes so had no choice and the price was great.

The pumps were extremely RV unfriendly. I have one heck of a time getting in and out but I didn't unhook.

Not certain if other Kroger's have easy pump access but this one certainly didn't.

That is my impression also. Only accessable with a auto, not a huge RV.
I was informed a few minutes ago that Shell offers the same thing. I would prefer Shell, many times more stations, closer to travel routes, and more RV friendly.

I certainly hope that we all pay off 100% of our credit card balances every month!

Perhaps the quickest way to financial failure is running balances and making monthly payments of credit cards.

We're now in Pigeon forge, TN and shop at Kroger. When you buy $100 worth of food, etc., from Kroger in a month you can fill up at the Kroger pumps and receive 10 cents per gallon discount. I do this and pay with my Discover Gasoline card that provides a 5% discount (up to certain limits).

We stopped using the Discover card when they would not match the better rebates from Mastercard.....

We can save 10 cents per liter with our Canadian Tire Mastercard. We have to spend 1 thousand on the card in any given month and then the next month the discount kicks in. Works out to be around 40 cents a gallon.
