Kwikee linkage broke

My steps quit today. The link between motor and step broke in half. It is a series 32. I am told my only solution is a upgrade kit for about $200. I called two parts supplies and told the same by both. Linkage stamp is 151332 Step is series 189875 series 32. Any help appreciated

Replaced my linkage, on the 32 series, in Oct. 2015 . RV dealer in Missoula , had the part in stock for $55.
I may still have the box in the coach for a P/N. I'll check and re-post tonight.

I got the P/N for my owners manual , 909534, and that's what the dealer used to find the part in his inventory.

Is your linkage straight or does it have the 90 degree turn in it?
My manual lists 2 straight links , for different motors and the 90 degree that my steps use.

Well , I don't have the broken part to check for the stamping , but the link came with the mount plate , bearing, clevis pin, and cotter pin.
If your kit when it arrives has more parts than those , I'm not sure of the work involved . My repair was less than a 1/2 hour under the coach.

Since I had to buy my parts , Kwikee ( Power Gear ) has been bought up by , Lippert. Could be the sharp price increase is , corporate greed.
