Lawsuit Against AAA

Hello! I hate that I have to ask this but it seems that I have to bring a small claims lawsuit against The American Automobile Association to get them to move their feet on a matter that has already cost me $$$$.

I'm having a very difficult time how and where to initiate a claim besides the BBB, which already has them listed with and F rating. Even identifying the last names and their positions and locations is very difficult so far. If anyone has any idea where to go to start this process, please share. I am hoping that I am not restricted to arbitration by some clause in the TOS. South Florida.

TIA

To initiate a small claims action you go to the county court house, Clerk of the Court and pay a fee and fill out the paper work.

There is no such thing as a "claim" with the BBB. All they are is a place where you lodge a complaint against a business. that is all.

Correct. BBB is only a reporting agency who can sometimes play the role of mediator if the service provider is interested. No doubt AAA has no interest in improving their F rating

Wow! You're having problems. Back in Sept. you were going to sue a service provider, also.

To bring your case in small claims court in Florida, you must be seeking to recover $5,000 or less.
Better bone up if your representing yourself.

Maybe you got the wrong AAA. I think that’s Allied Alcoholics Association.

Just googled AAA 's BBB rating. I believe your looking at a individual provider NOT the company's performance. I noticed one towing company with an F rating. You need to sue the individual who has done you wrong. You will need to file a complaint before you can sue. Call your local court house they can walk you through it. OR if you don't have a attorney on retainer you can spend a couple hundred dollar and hire one....for a hour to discus if your claim would be valid or not.
Best wishes

BBB is a private for profit company. It has no ties to any Government department.

You have to sue the state association where you are subscribed, not the entire AAA. Assuming you bought your AAA membership in Florida, it will be "AAA Auto Club South".
