Lazy Days FL - Good Service Report

After hearing LD is good with selling but forgets you when you get service, I have a good report to share. Scheduled the Montana for a handful of warranty work. Told them I would be staying for the duration of the repairs but changed my mind since we live relatively close by.*

Checked in by service writer Samantha and the FW was in the bay two hours later. Some things could not be repaired in one day. RV tech Steve thoroughly explained what he needed to do, and one repair part had to be ordered. The part didn't arrive till the second week but I don't think that was LD's fault. The FW will have to go back to replace the cracked Corian counter because it, by itself, is a 10hr job and the countertop must be ordered.

Overall, I give LD an A- so I'm very pleased. They could have gotten an A if they had given me a couple of calls to let me know the repair status rather than me having to call them. Regardless, I did NOT experience what others have complained about WRT being forgotten after the sale.

We went in to Lazy Days looking to purchase our first tt. Obviously it's alot of fun just looking at all the different models and floor plans ect. The salesmen showed us a few that we might be interested in. After 6 or 7 he asked about financing. We told him we were about a month away from having that all that squared away as we were planning on a bigger down payment. Once he heard a month away he lost all interest in us. Showed us one more and took us back to our car and said to call him when we were ready. Well we went to general rv down the road. It wasn't the best experience but they had no problem waiting for us and kept in touch on a regular basis on tt we might like. We did purchase from general but honestly probably won't buy from them again.

We have also had good service from LD in both Tampa and Tucson. We bought in Tampa two years ago and got a great deal on our MH and had a good experience doing it. We returned for service a year later as we were driving through and again had a good experience -not perfect - but good.
I prefer to use Freightliner for chassis repairs and routine service. They are also easier to find as they are nationwide.
I've also stopped by the coach manufacturer, Tiffin in Red Bay AL, for a few repair items. You would only go to Red Bay if you wanted to stop by Tiffin. The Coon Dog Cemetary is about the only nearby attraction.
