Lazy Days update

Spent the weekend at Lazy Days campground. Latest on Campers World is they will relocate to the new site at the next exit east on I-4 sometime between March - June 2013. I was told I could throw away my Presidents Club card as it was really "no good".
Lazy Days staff really had no response as to what was going to take their place but several did state that "Lazy days " had stopped making rent on the property for some time. This did not come from Management just several sales staff.
The Change out lot was pretty full so it appears RV's are selling there. What was very evident was the lack of practially any "used" rv's period. The lot south of the campground was totally empty. I have never seen that before. As well as it appears they they are heavily stocked in Trailers now. The Big Rigs Lot was filled with units in for service and or delivery and the service bays were filled also
The Campground was perhaps 1/3 filled. A classic car show had a total of 8 cars, buit it is summer and hot.

The next Exit East is Exit 14-McIntosh Road, Dover, FL. Where are they moving to-Bates RV, LongView RV. We stay in that area when we winter in FL.

Regarding the comment about the President's Club card: Good Sam has eliminated the President's Club card and substituted the Good Sam card instead. They have prorated any time left on the old card.

Work is taking place at the new CW Location in the "Longview location " no Motorhomes were there and a few trailers were in the back. The lot had been seal coated and re stripped and it appeared that remodeling was going on inside the building.

Thanks for the information

Well isn't that just DUCKY !!! So now if you had a President's Card your getting a GS card ? Does this mean I get all the trash mail too? That was the big reason I dropped them in the first place they literally filled my mail box with mail on nothing I wanted. When I finally got them dropped my mail from them and others they sent my address to also dropped.

You should have received a new GS/President's Club combined card some time ago. Everyone else did, at least those whose PC card had not already expired. Suggest you contact CW or GS about yours.

CW is having a public dispute with Lazydays over contract provisions, and both are disputing with Don Wallace's land company, which owns the site & buildings and with whom both companies have lease agreements. Lots of spears and arrows being chucked around. Google some keywords and read up on the news articles concerning both.

We are headed to Naples this weekend and was planning on stopping to take a peak at some DP's.

I too noticed there was not much on the pre-owned side when I looked at their website.
