I'm sticking with the wave when safe to do so. If I ever get to the point that a wave at anytime puts me on the edge of safely handling my rig, it's time for me to hang up the keys.

A wave out to ya' tqracn, DandS, blackf3504dr, and Harm.

And a wave out to those who do not wave, too!

If you know not what port to steer, no wind is favorable.

I have the same feelings, if one is to scared to drive one handed and do some normal driving things with the other, then one doesn’t belong behind the wheel. I still drive a straight stick so I steer left handed and rest the right one on the gear shift knob. I’ll wave at ya with all my fingers, but I still never got away from giving the peace symbol.

Way too late to edit first reply;
OK, now that waving has been qualified to certain circumstances; I do wave at oncoming RV's on 2 lane(outside high populated areas) roads, where the speed limit is 55 or less, and traffic volume is light enough. Where are the waves and greeting while driving on interstate highways? I guess everyone is like me, no wave. Like I said, I try to say hi on the ch13 CB radio, but no-one is listening it seems. I once tried to warn a MH driver that an inside dual was flat, no response on the radio. Driver became aware when rubber began to beat the MH though.
