What I said was American's would not like a 17% flat tax. Why is because the effective tax rate paid by most American's, including those in the higher brackets, is a lot less than that.
No, I posted a link to the info so you could read it in full and see it is not a flat tax. It is pedantic to construe those words as saying it is a flat tax.
