There will be a new federal parks pass, known as America The Beautiful, replacing Golden Age, Golden Access, National Parks Pass, etc. sometime in 2005. Legislation passed recently by Congree establishes the new pass but leaves some details and the actual implementation date to the Secretary of thre Interior. Existing Golden passes will be honored, so there is no reason to wait for the new one.
