Limb thru roof concerns.

A week ago my WB Sightseer took a 4-5 inch thick limb thru the roof which fully pierced the ceiling of the coach.I have it covered and sealed awaiting the first available appointment at the service center.I am not totally sure of all the ramifications of a total roof replacement and would appreciate your thoughts.

Welcome to the forum. Well that is not good. It will be a major repair. And in fact depending on the age of the rig you insurance may write it off as a totaled.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Enjoy the adventure!

that says it's a "one piece fiberglass roof".
Which means it is repaired just like any other fiberglass part.

Take the stuff off the roof area.
Cut the broken edges to remove fibers that keep it from closing up flat.
Remove the interior ceiling liner and roof insulation.
Reglass the area, ideally from the bottom to add thickness / structure without affecting the top cosmetics.
Reglass the top area post sanding it rough.
Sand the new exterior glass smooth,
Body plastic and sand till very smooth and near pock free.
Spot putty till perfectly smooth
Sand
Clean
Mask
Prime and paint.

A picture would be very helpful to get any more info that isn't general.

Very likely fixable and NOT totaled. But a picture would sure help.

Look up some vids on fixing a hole in a fiberglass boat.I would make a solid support patch from underside . I used the bathroom wall composite stuff on a cooling tower basin to push a pad of heavy weave glass and chopped glass from back side. Brushed resin in until soaking under the patch edges and stopped there for first coat. You can tack down over \ top coats of glass with super glue to keep in place while brushing in resin. You get it too wet and start floating mesh too much.
