Hi all. I am going on vacation for my second venture in a motorhome. I will need to find those propane dealers who have a meter and can fill my built in tank. Has anyone found a list that I can access to see where I can get the stuff? Propane dealers seem remarkably unaware of what other dealers do and have available for their customers.

I'm travelling through eastern Ontario and into Quebec. Any pointers would be welcome.

GoRving website doesn't post locations for this service, the Propane association doesn't either. So I'm a tad perplexed.

Thanks for any pointers.

Sue

Go here for a list of the Flying J Service Plazas in Canada. It will list where they are and which ones have propane available. You might check the other brands individually to see if they carry propane at any of their stop.

Good luck, enjoy your trip.

Sue,

When and how long are you staying that the propane would become an issue? I have traveled in Canada in the early fall for up to two weeks and have not even come close to needing a refill. What size is your tank, mine is 100 lbs. Unless you plan on doing a lost of dry camping and have a propane generator it should not be an issue.

As for getting a refill most campgrounds have a listing of the local providers and some even have a service that will come to you. When securing your site ask the campground what propane service is available nearby and you will most likely get a number of vendors to choose from.
