Lock lube
What do you use on your entry door and compartment locks? I have been using liquid graphite but I heard that wasn't so good.

Graphite is what I use. Just make sure it does not leave a oil/grease residue as that will attract dirt and wear out the lock.

I have two main lubricants that I carry, Slip Plate and Dupont Teflon.
For locks and hinges, I use the Dupont Teflon:
Amazon.com: Dupont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant, 11 oz Aerosol Spray, CASE OF 6 (D00110101-C): Automotive
Goes on "wet" to flow into crevices and cracks, but, dries to a teflon impregnated wax so that it doesn't attract dust and dirt. Won't leave stains like graphite does, resists water well and stays a lot longer than other lubes I've tried.

Regular old 3 in 1 machine oil seems to work best for me and don't make a mess like graphic.

Ever been iced out of your RV? We experienced freezing rain one time, which froze the lock as well as covering it. I now carry a tiny spray can of lock de-icer, which consist of mineral oil and a de-icer. It lubes the tumblers for about 3 months.
I tried the graphite and dry moly lubes, they both leave stains on the white surfaces.

I know WD40 attracts dust, but it also does a nice job cleaning out locks. I oversaw maintenance for about 12 route trucks at one time and the locks on the rear doors would get pretty dirty from all our high desert dust and the sanding that occurs regularly on our northern Nevada roads. The dust cover that slides to the side when you insert the key would get stuck and the locks would get dirtied up really bad, to the point you could hardly turn them. I would hold a rag under the lock cylinder and spray for maybe a half a minute. You could see the dirt and muck draining from the lock cyliner. They worked well for about 3-4 months after that and never froze even when temps where in single digits.
