How about a bicycle cable lock?
Happy Glamping.

Bike lock like this picture $10 on Amazon and a linger keyed Master Lock with $11
Run the lock thru your surge and both ends of the cable wrapping the cable around the your electrical source... should all fit with room to spare if you get the longer lock.
But I gotta say I like the chain above because you can select the length easier.
Good Luck!

We have RV'ed in ALL of the lower 48 and into Canada.
Our Progressive EMS surge protector came with a built in cable loop. I have used a combination bike lock cable in the past.
Usually I don't even bother locking it. In all the years camping I have never heard of one being stolen. Actually, I've never had anything stolen from a campsite. It could always happen I guess but I find it difficult to believe anyone who has the wherewithal to own an RV is going to steal a surge protector.

I belong to the Locksport community. Just some helpful information for what its worth: Masterlock is one of the easiest brands of locks to pick. I am a beginner at the sport and I can pick almost all Masterlocks available in big box stores, usually in less than a minute.
I would personally choose a lock better than Masterlock.
On every MH I ever owned my solution solved both weathedr and theft issues.
I mounted the surge protector in the bay. On several coaches the power cord was directly wired to the electrical system. On these, I cut the cord and put a male connector on my new short end to the coach. I put the appropriate female end on remaining cable remnant. Just plugged the surge protector in and ready for easy removal if necessary.
My current coach has the marine style screw on connector. For this one, I just bought a adapter plug to make the connection inside the bay. I didn't cut the original cord, just got a new one with the appropriate female end. Saved the original cord as an emergency option or so I can take the surge protector with me if I ever trade in the coach.

I don't lock the box so I can open it quickly to trip a CB or pull a cord.
It's important to snug the chain up tight so it is difficult to get the jaws of a bolt cutter or a saw blade on the links or to pull the chain and surge guard over the top of the pedestal.
I have several feet of extra chain so I can chain my motorcycle, ladder or expensive rocking chairs around a tree or picnic table if necessary.

Don't know if it's good luck, better planning, or that there are far more honest people in the RV community but I've never felt the need to lock up my EMS. If I'm worried about the theft potential, I'm staying in the wrong place.

Yep & 25 years LE in an area with a state park with over 1 million visitors a year. 1 theft of a couple sleeping bags.
I know who's in the site next to me and make it a point to say hello. Years of camping and never lost a thing with tables, stoves, lanterns, coolers, & chairs. How many sites you see with gear sitting out?
