What was the clearance? That looks low. Any recommendations for a place to stay?

You can see the concern of those that came upon these arches unexpectedly written all over the road....

The clearance is perfectly safe for the biggest RVs. It's a very popular drive with RVers as it takes you to Bryce National Park - a must do. You can stay in the park (dry camping) or just outside at Ruby's.

The continuation of that drive on Hwy 12 takes along another gorgeous drive through Escalante Nat'l Park and on up to Capitol Reef Nat'l Park. That whole area is one of our favorite places to roam around for weeks.

Normally the screen is too grubby to take photographs through it so this is a rare exception

Probably highly illegal but we stopped for the night and enjoyed the changing scene.

Thanks. Utah is not far and we will definitely be exploring this area in the near future.
