Yes it was with our group and it was there first time out since they had to sell there Jayco Greyhawk 31fs a few months ago, serious downgrade for them!!!!!!! It was a rental i think it was $80.00 a day,it was pretty cool though the 2 little ones and his wife slept inside the tear drop and he slept in the roof tent,it has a little storage/kitchen area on the back and minimal storage inside.the roof tent took about 5 minutes to set up. I kept trying to make him feel better about selling his Greyhawk by reminding him that its still better than sleeping in tents!!!!!!!

Don't be surprised if they don't start looking for their own TT in the near future. If they plan on camping with you often, she will get tired of sleeping on the ground quick. He can keep the tent and use it himself or with kids. Then she will compare her rig to yours.

Hey, won't THAT be fun. I would love to see her expression after they buy a Travel Trailer, and you ask to borrow it! Tell her, for instance, that you are traveling with friends who smoke and don't want them to smoke in YOUR trailer, so could she please loan you HER'S?!? I'd PAY to see her expression!

I have learned that in this day and age of so much entitlement mentality, being nice and soft pedaling hoping people will get the message DOES NOT WORK! What numb skull doesn't understand the skill level required to operate and maneuver a rig? You are being way to kind and you are not getting your message across. Figure out her most prized most expensive thing and ask if you can borrow it. Entitled people don't do very well when the shoe is on the other foot.

It's hard to believe this thread has gone on to post #105.
NO is a simple two letter word. Perhaps the first word you heard from your mother.
I have a way of saying NO everyone seems to understand. If not I refer them to the dictionary and have them look it up for themselves.
No further explanation necessary.

If they want to continue discussing something after I have said NO, I start singing the country song "What Part of No Don't You Understand". That pretty much ends the conversation.
