Not sure why you had a hard time turning over. I actually find them to be the easiest to maneuver on. BTW I was a stubborn mule that pooh-poohed memory foam mattresses until I spent a night at my friends Hawaiian beach house. I didn't know I was sleeping on one until my SO and I both commented that the mattress he had was the best we had ever slept on it. I have never looked back after that.
