Just google or wiki "love bug" you will get all the info you need. They are the twice a year scourge of travelers in the South. I spent all week-end cleaning and polishing the Eagle and toad, now this afternoon I am headed out right into them all over again. I have Rejex on the front of the coach, it will be a great test if it truly can really defeat the @%^bug!

Love bugs are out May and Sept give or take a week due to weather.. They go as far west as Texas. I use wet dryer sheets to remove them. Do not let them sit on the vehicle for any period of time, the acid in them will eat paint. I hate those things!!

We ran into them last week going from St Louis to Evansville. They must have been just coming out as there wasn't the swarms you see farther south. Still made a mess on the coach

I'd like to here how the Rejex works as I'm half way through doing my whole coach.

Ahhh, Yes, How I do miss those little critters splattered all over the front of my car or pick-up. (no RV yet) Anyways, a couple of tried and true methods that have worked for me in removing the remains of the darely departed. WD-40, spray on wait a minute and wipe. Peroxide some say 20% mix with water, but I tend to do overkill. Same thing spray on wipe off.

Prestone makes a w/s washer fluid called Bug Wash and it works well while driving. Use it in the reservoir and on a cloth to wipe the rest.
