Lightbulb Math 101

Did a search on here and found nothing so I thought I would throw out this quick math reference to anyone that would need it at any given time. This reference is in regards to lighting. I'm looking at redoing a bunch of my lights inside the MH and I'm trying to go less power with more light, in doing so I was able to figure out a bunch of stuff by the little info they give you on the package or on the info online. For anyone else looking for answers, hopefully this will help and I won't just be wasting bandwith on the forum. :-)

WATT / VOLT = AMP
WATT / AMP = VOLT
VOLT x AMP = WATT
MSCP x 12.57 = LUMENS

hope this helps someone......

Below is just a quick list of the most common bulbs in an RV/MH/TT.

1003 bulb
12w - .94a - 14mscp

1141 bulb
18.4w - 1.44a - 21mscp

1076 bulb
23w - 1.8a -

921 bulb
18w - 1.4a -

1383 bulb
19.5w - 1.5a -

1156 bulb
26.9w - 2.1a - 32mscp

Thanks for making it easier to discuss/decide about lighting -- damn stuff is complicated!

yes it is, sad part is that i could have done a google search on how to figure it out and probably gotten an online punch in the numbers and it calculates it for you type of page, but instead I sat on the calculator for 15 minute trying crap.... lol

loved math 8years ago when i graduated HS, i guess i still love it....
