Mattress Toppers

We’ve never used one but are now considering a purchase. I’m sure some of you use one so what has been your experience with one?

Bought a 3" top brand topper for the pull out couch. Absolutely had to have something to make that usable. Don't remember the brand. Just went online and read the reviews and picked one. Down side is that you have to store it somewhere. It won't go under the couch.

I highly recommend the Sleep on Latex 100% natural latex mattress toppers! We bought them for the MH and house and love them!

We have one we picked up at Costco, and one for the couch/bed we store under the master bed. And one on our master bed at home, I guess we like them

Safe travels

Our bed is on the slide so it has the dreaded folded bottom half. The mattress is horrible. We've tried three different toppers. The first two I stacked together and still found sleeping on the couch to be more comfortable. Recently we bought the one linked below and it drastically improved the bed. I do have to remove the comforter when retracting the slide but that is no big deal.

We bought a 3" memory foam topper for our new truck camper and felt it made it worse. I sent the topper back, gave away the mattress and bought a bed in a box, much better.

A 3 inch topper from Costco saved me from buying a new mattress.

We used a 3" memory foam topper for the last two years. The wife liked it, but I thought it was just a little too soft and it was too long for our mattress. We just replaced it with a My Pillow 2" RV Queen topper. I have only been able to take a short nap on it so far, but it is a vast improvement on the memory foam. There is also the added benefit of them being on sale for half price right now.

Best is a good quality mattress. We purchased a Costco topper ($200) and it's working OK. Would only recommend a topper as an interim mattress solution. The trailer got a full size queen from Bed in a box. The OEM mattress in the Breeze is actually quite good. When it's not, we'll upgrade.

The corner bed in our Winnie Minnie 22R was too hard and terrible to sleep on. We bought a 3" topper. That solved the hardness issue, but made the bed like a marshmallow. Very hard to turn over or get out of the inside of the corner bed. We greatly dislike corner beds and now I dislike the topper. We are looking for a small MH with a full time queen bed, no folding and no more corner beds!

We also got rid of the topper on our king sized bed at home, just too soft. Glad to see some folks liking them, but not for us.

We put a 3 inch foam topper on our bed. This was what was called a "gel infused" topper. Very comfortable ... that is until you tried to turn over and had to literally wake up and crawl out of the hole your body made to do that turn-over. That one lasted about 3 weeks and was replaced by a 'standard' latex version. Just be aware of what works for your needs. If you are a restless sleeper, that gel type may not be for you. The hide a bed has a 1" latex foam topper that easily folds with the bed. Not super but it works for whenever that bed is used.

The one from My Pillow is great. Doesn't get hot. Life changer for sure!
