The newer MAC's have a provision for running dual mode with MS Opearting system as the second mode. With that you could run all MS Programs.

PA(Passport America) will pay for itself after 4 nights of use.

There are many other programs that will get you a 10% discount, it just depends on how poor you want to be signing up for them all. KOA, Good Sam, etc.,

Once you start your trip, check back in as many have traveled the roads you will be on and can suggest some very nice places that artistry can be used. Two come to mind, Tom Sawyer in Memphis, TN. Sits right on the Mississippi River, and Deer Run, in Crossville, Tennessee.

I have Coach-Net and have used it when up in New England. They were prompt and good. I have also used them for technical assistance once and they help me over the phone.

Consider getting pay-as-you go Cell phones or sign up for one of the Cell providers. You will most likely need to do a 1 year contract, but that should not be a problem if you are traveling for a year.

WiFi in CG's are from excellent to very poor to non-existent. I got tired of struggling to get on the internet so, With AT&T I purchased the USB 881 wireless. Cost is $60 a month, but well worth it when traveling. There are other plans available. Some CG areas have WiFi through companies and will charge for daily or weekly use. Weekly being cheaper.

We have a friend that spent over a year in AU, doing what you are doing, but he was also working.

Good luck and hope to see you on the road.

Thanks for all the suggestions..

Wayne, my husband has been working on setting up bootcamp which is installed in your Mac, it is supposed to get the two operating systems working for MS and Mac, has been really deadful and closed the computer down, I would suggest never trying to use it.
I got onto a mac blog, wow this guy Rick really helped me...

We are installing at the moment VMware fusion, so far it is wonderful step by step..no formating with very easy instructions..it transforms the mac into a duel machine no rebooting it, we got the 60 day trial, I think it is $80.00 us...well worth it and I have also ordered the soft ware Atlas Toby suggested...

Thanks for the info about the wiFi!
Cheers Sharon
