Hi clifftall,
The original poster (in the FMCA RV Forum) has taken advantage of the program. The program has not been announced by FMCA or Michelin. I do not feel one can confirm a program that has not been announced. At this time, you could call the numbers in the OP for additional information. If I needed tires right now, that is what I would do.

Good rumor, but not realistic IMHO.

There has been an update to this topic on the FMCA web site. I did not understand the update and have asked the moderator for clarification.

As of last night the FMCA thread originating this discussion has been closed. For me this is fair. The thread was getting many posts with questions about a program that has yet to be announced. Rest assured, this premature announcement has created quite a buzz at FMCA and Michelin HQs. The moderators of the FMCA forum are working with both organizations to have the details of the program as soon as possible. When it is announced, I will post the information in this thread. If you are a member of the FMCA, you can check the forum in the General Discussion section.

In the immediate future, consider checking your tires, determine if you got a really good deal would you buy and be ready for the announcement.

It doesn't surprise me FMCA doesn't know about this program. When I called them last year about joining FCOC they didn't have a clue what I was talking about even though its a Freightliner chassis owners club they sponsor. Go figure.

Hi Elkhartjim,
It is not that FMCA did not know about the program. FMCA and Michelin have been working on this program for some time. It is just the final details have not been decided. Programs like this, on the surface, seem simple. However, there are numerous details to complete inside both organizations.

Stay tuned.

FMCA does not "sponsor" any club.

They could still working out how much $$ FMCA will get out of the deal.

Then why do several clubs, not let you join them until you are a FMCA member first.
One of the reasons, I refuse to join FMCA or any of those other clubs that require that.

My bad. Your exactly right, they do not sponsor FCOC. According to the FCOC website, they are a "chapter" of FMCA...whatever that means.

Might be because the clubs are supporting the FMCA! If you're not a member then you're missing out!
