Michelin Tire Deal For FMCA Members
I just got this from the FMCA forum. It was posted just a few minutes ago.
---------------------------------------------
There is a program available to all FMCA members in good standing to buy at Fleet Pricing. I started the thing last summer with the help of many people from FMCA from the top down. All were excited to make it happen including those at Michelin NA.
Following is an email I received from the Rep responsible for working this out with Michelin.
Bob
Thanks for the follow up call. I have been in meetings all week and have had "sketchy" cell service at best. The Motor Coach Program is ready for all FMCA members to use. I am still trying to get our marketing dept. to do something for Ms. Spurgeon to announce it. FMCA members will need to show their card at the time of purchase and tell the dealer they are authorized to use our Motor Coach Program. Thanks for your help!
Respectfully,

I hope you all enjoy this wonderful opportunity we now have to buy the best my opinion, Michelin tires, at a big discount from retail price.
I was the first in the country to get the saving.. in my case around $1600.00 for 6 295 22.5 XZA H
You can check with Tone Lacey @ The Truck Center in Gainesville GA. They can guide you thru. 678 450 7800 or tonyl@gottc.com
Best to all and happy rolling on safe tires.
Bob
--------------------------------------------
And I just purchased new Michelin tires for the wife's car.

I think that is a great price. I presume that dosn't include installation, mounting or balancing.

Would you be able to purchase them anywhere in the country?

Hi mikron,
I do not know if the $s mentioned was the price of the tires or the savings realized. If your interested, give the folks in Georgia a call on Monday. If you determine the details, please post them here.

Hi BarbRN,
As best I know, the tires can be purchased at any authorized Michelin tire dealer.
To all that are interested. If you need the details, give the people mentioned in the OP a call on Monday.
Remember, this is "hot off the press". As mentioned in the OP, it hasn't even been announced by FMCA yet.

If you read the post, I think that was the savings and not the retail price.

Hi vince90605,
FMCA stands for Family Motor Coach Association.

I need 4 new tires as well, so great news. I've been trying to get onto FMCA.COM all morning to try to get more info, or better yet, official confirmation, but no dice. Maybe the site is overloaded with people trying to do the same thing?

Other people are having trouble with the site also. I can read the posts but I get a blank page when I try to log on.
There is a thread on rv.net about this issue.
