Google is your friend. Just ask that very question.

Having been in carpet cleaning for 40 years he right, throw it out. Padding is probably moldy also. An oxygenation machine might help but stain will remain[emoji252]

Corcrobium Mold Control for Carpets.
You'll note it requires taking up the carpeting, which may make it more worthwhile to simply replace carpeting and pad.
Carpeting is about the only thing I have not used this product for to eliminate mold and mildew. I was well satisfied with items i have treated.

NOT CARPET...but a idea for people fighting smells. If you clean your refrigerator...as maybe bacteria got inside from being closed up? Scrub it with soap and water..and maybe some Alcohol.....that not for you to drink...by the way. Ha. After it has been cleaned....Take Imitation Vanilla on a rag and wipe down the walls and door area. It will smell like new again. After you are back from your trip....never leave the doors closed...at least a week...for condensation to evaporate. Also the DOLLAR STORE...sells moisture and odor desiccants in a little tub...They are the best thing you can use on rooms or RV...to extract moisture and odors. GOOD LUCK.

What is the nature of the spot you are trying to clean? Is it just a small area or a large stain?
A mild bleach solution can work but care must be taken not to bleach the color out of the carpet or "burn" the fibers. Try an out of the way area first, and to err on the weak side. Apply a small amount, then fold a white towel and place it over the spot and put a weight on top (something that won't rust!). Let it sit a while, and the towel will draw the solution and any stain up into the towel. Then remove the towel and let the area dry. Repeat if needed.
You can also look for a "soap free" carpet stain remover that contains hydrogen peroxide. It safer than bleach and much less likely to remove the dye or burn the fibers. If you have a janitorial supply company in your area get it there. It may take several applications to fade or remove the stain. If you have a larger area you can see if a carpet cleaning company can come to deal with the stain. Shouldn't be costly.
One problem is how deep does the stain go? If the mold or mildew goes through the backing and into the pad or the floor, the best you can do is fade the surface unless it's along a wall where you can pull the carpet back and deal with all of it. The rule of thumb is you don't want your solution to penetrate the backing. Some RVs don't have padding under the carpet and the subfloors are particle board. Also a lot of RV carpet is installed with a million staples and over wetting can cause them to rust which will be another stain you'll have to deal with. Over wetting also will wick stains up from deeper in the carpet, pad or wood floor and the stain will reappear as the carpet dries. Patience is the key. Go slow. You can mist the solution on with a spray bottle and lightly work it into the fibers with your fingers - get the carpet DAMP not wet.
I've removed mildew stains in ceiling carpet and floor carpet but the darker ones took time and several applications. The hardest one was the white ceiling carpet around the frame of my shower skylight. I actually had to peel the carpet loose and treat it, then bleach and seal the plywood skylight frame before re-gluing the carpet back in place. It isn't perfect but looks way better than before. Remember, you can always try again, but once you've bleached the dye out, or burned the fibers because of too strong of a bleach solution, there's no undoing it.
Hope this helps.

I'd recommend that you first find out the source of the mildew. Mildew isn't normal. Do you have a leak? If you store the RV and it seems you're in Georgia, then you may need to devise some kind of ventilation during storage and have air circulating.
Good luck!
