Mobil 1

Costco has Mobil1 on sale again 1/29 thru 2/22. It's $10 off a case of 6 quarts which makes it about $4.30 to $4.40 per quart. That actually makes it cheaper than the 5 quart jug from WalMart.

I use it in all my cars and the motor home. When Costco and Sams put it on sale it costs about the same as a brand name dino oil. The quarts really work good for the motor home because you can't get the 5 quart jug up high enough to pour in the fill spout.

I agree about the quart size containers...I saved a case of the containers and refill them from the 5 qt Walmart purchases.... then I can use them as needed. Even my motorcycle gets Mobil 1

Thanks. I will stock up next Costco trip. My birthday month coming up. That's when I change oil in all the low annual mileage wheeled stuff (jeep, old truck, garden tractor, and Motorhome).

The ad says the limit is 3 cases of six quarts. Last time I bought 3 and the wife bought 3. Sams will probably have the same sale in their next ad.

Hey Gocoffeer: What viscosity do you use in your Motorhome, 10W-30?

I have a 2013 Tiffin on the Ford F53 chassis and I use 5w-20 which is what the book calls for. Another nice thing about the quart bottles is that Advance Auto sells a funnel that has a clear plastic tube on it and a screw on bottom. The screw on bottom is the type that when you turn the outer half it opens the spout. That screw on section fits right on the quart Mobil 1 bottle so you can turn it upside down and then open it when it is in the fill tube on the motor home.

Note that there are different grades of Mobil 1. Any of them will do the job except for a diesel motor.

The Mobil 1 EP is the really good stuff.

I even use it in snowblowers, generators, lawn tractors and change oil every other year.
I have an F350 on order. Too bad Costco doesn't carry the diesel blend.
