Mobley bill

I just received my ZTE Mobley and AT&T posted my bill on line. They did not show an outright buy for the unit, so I chose the $7.50 for 20 months option thinking I would just pay it off if I wanted after the first bill. They charged my credit card $12.38 for the tax on the unit (said tax needed to be paid). The 7.50 x 20 months = the 150 cost, billed at 0 interest as stated on the bill.
Anyway the ongoing monthly bill is listed at $41.61. Take away the $7.50 for the equipment, the service is $34.11 per month. That's almost 75% in taxes and fees.
Here's the break down:
State and local tax 4.68
Federal universal service 3.91
Administrative fee 1.99
Cost recovery 1.25
State service fund 1.22
911 fee .56
Other ATT surcharges .50

That's $14.11 tax and fees on a $20 bill

Oh yea the first bill is prorated at $6.67 + $30 Activation

What are your bills looking like ?

A bunch of charges are specific to your state/local. Mine is less in our zipcode in Florida.

My Mobley bill is $23.34 per month but I took the 2-year contract and the Mobley was free!

Mine is about $24 a month (Ohio).. I'm in AZ for the past couple months and have been using it for internet access and streaming. Its a little slow when I'm out in the sticks.

I'll see what kind of coverage I get from the Painted Rock Petroglyph site later today as we set up there for a week or so.

I bought mine outright at Best Buy and my bill is 22.11 per month. I find the Mobley works VERY WELL.

Same here for my 2017 Mobley $20 plan, $23.24, just came through a few hours ago. My relative that just bought the new one should be getting their first bill in a few days, I think 10 days according to the billing cycle email.

Mine is also $23.24. If yours is higher, it is most likely due to local taxes applicable to your billing address.

Has anybody finished out their 24 month ATT Mobley ($23.24) unlimited contract? I wonder what it will go to when the 2 years are up.

Mine is $24.76 per month in South Dakota. My largest charge is the Administrative Fee at $1.99 … The rest of the charges are City Sales Surcharge, Regulatory Cost Recovery Charge, and State Sales Surcharge. I'm on no contract and paid $99 for the device.
