Shelf liner is what we purchased. Put it in all of the cupboards and drawers. Also put in the fridge when traveling (take it out when stopped for days as it is a pain to move stuff around on).

I used some thin metal, don't remember the gauge, and on the inside of door on each side contoured the plates to fit up against the top and side on both sides, then using 1/8" x1/2" pop rivets evenly spaced around the outer edges, attached them......then took angle aluminum and made brackets for the doors and for the door frames....used 30lb gas shocks and been that way for 3 years now without anything coming loose or bending....and these are foam filled doors......also added locking slam latches...metal ones...and these are decent sized compartment doors

I've seen some of the improvements Bob has made to his 5er. Amazing! But if I need some help with a project I know he's got the right tools - even a tablesaw! I can’t wait for him to come back to Quartzsite, and not for just his help with my projects. He's a great guy to chat with about all things RV.
Hey Bob! As of Tuesday your spot in B-10 was still open. I keep checking to see if you are there.

Palazzo bumper behind front cap?
Has anyone attached a "bumper" to the frame rails behind the front cap of their Palazzo's?
There is so much room and I sure think it would help reduce damage to the front cap as well as protect everything behind it (generator, hydro, AC condenser, etc)
I'm wondering if there is a standard/minimal Freightliner truck bumper that would fit or if anyone designed/built/installed their own?

I've done both the screen handle and the door shade upgrades. I rarely use the shade because you have to move the shade before closing the door because the screen door sits inside. Also, I’m parked with the door facing north.

Decorating
This falls under the decorating category rather than mods but I did build the buffet cabinet and table when I first purchased my coach in 2010. This is the 3rd set of chairs (and hopefully the last) that we have purchased. The first set looked good but were uncomfortable, the second set was the wrong color and uncomfortable but this set is just perfect! They are by Mobital USA Inc. (actually based in Canada).

Here is a cool mod. I tapped into my septic tank at home so I can have a dump station in my driveway. The only problem is that it's on the wrong side so I must use an extended sewer hose to reach it.

We had some woodwork mods done by a guy in Red Bay who works for Tiffin but does mods on the side. Liquor cabinet above TV, a cool cup holder for my favorite travel mug (the base Tiffin cup holder suck!), and a line drawer under the table. Love them!
