Having been outdoor tent camping and hiking for 40 years. Use at least 25% feet. I live in NC and used to live in Florida. BTW there are clouds of the Mosquitoes in Florida. I am not talking love bugs. This is in Ocala National Forest and along the Ocala river. We the scouts we used bandana over our mouths. Never seen anything like it. But they would pass. Make a mess out of your car have to drive with bug nets and lots of windshield wiper fluid and a good squeegee. BTW I use deep woods. Do not use Pircaridin on skin only on clothes. Long sleeves helps and long pants. With a camper fans help a lot.

Agree about skin so soft elsewhere. My post is from California and the critters here are not caring FAA numbers like all you all from the south.

Years ago, I read an article regarding a test that was done on 'the best insect repellent". It tested all the major brands and the best was ULTRATHON. Oddly enough it contained the lowest amount of 'deet' compared to the others in the study. The study also included 'Skin so soft' which they said worked for about 20 minutes.
I have used Ultrathon for many years, and it works.
