Is this your RV lot you are renting out?

Somehow I doubt we will ever hear back from Dave on this subject.

the way I am reading this, the campground sites are set-up as 'drive in, back out', instead of the standard 'back in, drive out'. evidently the management wants the class A motorhomes to view the lake thru the front windshield

I think you are right. This may have been a spoof to begin with.

I guess, very carefully.

I suppose I should have looked at the parkit thing a little closer before posting. I'm sure they make one for a 5th wheel somewhere.

While it was a blast reading this if I was the op asking a serious question (for him it was) I wouldn't be back either. With 5 posts he probably only posted when he has a question.

That Parkit mover for fifth wheels looks like an accident waiting to happen.....I'd like to see it go up over a curved curb like some parks have. Or even rough ground or concrete with uneven surfaces and cracks.

Just by the way they had to get it inside the pipe makes me nervous. It is very top heavy once it is hooked up. Not to mention the landing gear being subjected to side loads and pulling forces. They do bend if you leave them down and pull the trailer.....don't ask.

The hitch pin of the 5er (at the front) weighs at least 2,000 lbs, maybe 3,000lbs. It's going to exert 2,000 to 3,000 lbs lift at the back of the trailer. I seriously doubt the hitch on the rear will support that weight nor will the rear your truck will stay on the ground once connected.
