Smile Muffler Delete

I have a 2002 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 330hp Cummins
I was wondering if anyone with this model deleted their Muffler I was
Under my MH the other day and found that my Muffler had a hole rusted
In the bottom of it. I’m not sure if there is a kit to replace the muffler or
Does everyone just put a piece of stock pipe in where the muffler was.
Thanks in advance.

Replacement mufflers are readily available and if your are not a DYIer any local truck shop can handle the replacement. Likely some piping will b be in need of replacement also. I ended up replacing all of mine from the turbo back last year.

Just wondering what adding a "Y" and then splitting out to fake duals at both sides would sound like.

Turbochargers alone significantly quiet an exhaust. You might be surprised to only find a slight increase in noise level without it. That being said any shop that can lift your motorhome high enough to work under it could adapt an aftermarket muffler to it.

You'd "just have to" run them up the corners of the end cap so they exit at the top...right?

A loud exhaust can not leave a park quietly while others sleep. It can not pass by a LEO without attracting attention. It can not give you a quiet ride through the country. It can not idle in a parking lot without attracting the attention of others.

It can help to hide the noise of your generator. It is right at home doing laps at a NasCar track. It will not be noticed in a herd of Harleys. It will add to the roar and scream of the engine while climbing.

My recommendation ..... fix your muffler, replace your muffler, or install headers and quiet duals to improve performance and give you that cool look.

Do not eliminate your muffler, please.

It can blend in with all the yappy dogs in the RV park.

Not on big displacement engines. I’m sure you’ve heard over the road tractors with straight pipes and the ridiculous amount of noice they make when activating the Jake brake. Should be illegal and enforced.

Jake brakes help the 4-wheelers stay aware of what is bearing down on them.

Truck shops and parts houses can supply a suitable muffler. A 2002 Endeavor is probably on a Roadmaster RR8R chassis.

Holy moly, we are talking about a motorhome, not a muscle car. It ain't ever going to sound cool. Put the muffler on. My two cents.
