Keep your eyes open when driving maybe someone else made the same mistake and you will be fortunate enough to find it.

The screws on the bottom of my panel are a pain but after reading this thread, I'm glad that they are there. No chance at all of losing it.

Had to make it...

Previous owner had that happen, fridge door somewhere in the desert.

They made one out of particle board, added a heater register and at least the paint was correct color, no stripes, but hole covered.

Wood was bad, it was ugly.

Last "shop project" was to create a replacement as the door is long no longer available, found 2 sheets of 1/8 aliminum, milled overlaping slots in suc a manner to form "Z" passages, no direct shot for water but good for air, held on by 4 Southco turn-lock type fasteners.

Currenly has "close paint", a color that was close from Lowes, next step is correct paint, we need to refresh the stripes and other things, will paint then.

Added chains to door, so when we open it it hangs out of the way, if it comes off it will make a huge noise on the road.

Small chain is cheap at the hardware store, good secondary securement!
