All,
At the suggestion from MonacoMama. I will share my experience of my purchase of a 2005 Fleetwood Southwind on Ebay. After I won the unit I had a RV Shop I found in Jacksonville that does inspections look through the coach on my behalf. He found three things wrong Leveler (Atwood Electric Lifts), Blown light bulb, and weak batteries. The dealer offered to put in 2 new interstate batteries, but I took the credit and brought two new T-145. The lifts I am dealing with myself he had already replaced both pieces of the brain and I may be looking at $800.00 for a new leg. I do think I got a great RV the exterior and interior was in great condition it was kept up nicely even through it was repo'ed. I did a Carfax pull as well. I am very pleased with my purchase, but I also did a lot of homework before I paid the remaining purchase price. If I had to back out this deal the most I would have lost is $1,000 if I found something wrong (it was an AS-IS deal) and I thought that would be worth the risk, because I was paying cash with my hard earn money.

Congrats on your new purchase, sounds like you all the correct things to make your Ebay experience pleasurable. Now that the hard part is done I hope you get many years of enjoyment in your coach.

E-bay can be great... if you use your head.
Sounds like you got a nice unit at a good price. Enjoy it.
