My Rant
It would be very helpful if everyone would include their location and rig info when they post. It's really easy to do, click on User CP and go through the edits. It makes it a lot easier to answer questions if we know what you're driving/towing and where you are at. I'll quit at that, you don't really want to know all the other things that p me off.

I travel for 6 months a year, do I need to change my location when I move ?
If there isn't enough info, just skip the post. No need to get worked up about it.

You do know that if you are using an app and not a browser, that signature lines don't show?

I agree with mt camper in general. If one is asking for help, make it easy on the group to provide the specific help without having to research what rig they have. Or if asking for a location relevant question, then surely provide the general area of interest ie: Where is a recommended RV service center near Boise Idaho?
Since most all posts relate to the particular rig, why not put your rig in your signature.
I just love the posts that state "My heater doesn't work, how do I fix it?"

You might look into getting some Chill-Pills. I think they are over the counter now

I retired and full time rv to get away from people/some people, so I really don't want anyone to know things, unless I let them...
This is how I have been able to be happy and single for the last 17 years.
I took,,, my last chill pill, the day I retired 3.5 years ago.
I don't think I kept them, but if pm'ed,,,, I could check.

I don't care about location
RV info year/mfg/model can be helpful
AND year/brand/model of such & such should be posted with question/issue so folks aren't have to guess or keep asking question to answer the question
Kinda like "what rope do I use?"

GOOD answer! to many people post questions and don't supply any details about the question. and with some questions a location or climate area might help. if your on the road then say on the road all the time. if your so worried about someone knowing your location don't write in.

Yes, it is silly for a person to ask for help on something but then not give any details on what they're wanting help with. I do sometimes find myself rolling my eyes a bit when it happens but it's not anything to get irritated over.

Old-Biscuit, you mean like this:
Hi, I'm stuck in Virginia with my 2019 VanleighRV Beacon 39GBB. What kind of rope do I need?
