My sure cure for mice!
We ended up with big a mouse problem after leaving our coach for service. We did everything we read about, peppermint, stuffed every hole with steel wool and calking, etc. After finally getting rid of all the mice with old fashioned traps, I left the basement lights on hoping to keep them from setting up home again. It worked enough to let me know I was on the right track. No mice in the basement but we caught one inside the RV. I bought 3 35' tube lights with USB ends and put 1 in the basement with a charging adapter plugged into shore power, and 2 in the coach the same way (1 back half, 1 front half). I left them loosely coiled and zig zagging to get light into corners, under seats as well as down the hall. I put the lights on blink and changing colors. I have not had a mouse in the RV and it has been 6 months. I got the USB type because they will run off a phone charger or shore power with an adapter. We use them outside on the awning when we're at an RV park. PS: The fairy lights work too but they tangle easily.

Where did you get your lights? do you know how much current they draw? It seems a USB port would not be able to power so many lights. Thanks!

Great idea. People have success with lights under the RV on the ground - good for rats, also.
