National Park Service - campground design

Saw an article this morning on RVTravel.com regarding the National Park Service revising their campground design guide - the NPS is requesting feedback from campers and RVers.

https://www.rvtravel.com/park-servic...ground-design/

It’s a lengthy but well laid out PDF, 170 pages. Starts with an interesting history of park design. I found the RV bits to be well thought, and I provided feedback to the NPS.

Open the nps link, click on the pdf link to open in another tab. Then you can type your comment in the box without losing the pdf document. Comments require page# paragraph etc.
I will do that at a later time as I guess a 2-3 hr stint for this. Deadline Dec.4.

Ray, if you fill in a comment, please note the issue of off tracking, and tail swing for motorhomes, as it pertains the boulders the national park services love to use to line the sides of campground loop roads.

I"ll do that Isaac, thanks. On a different RVing forum website a member posted the link to the new recreation.gov website and video from the designers explaining how everything works, Including the new travel planner.
