Navarro Brothers Paint Shop, Los Algodones

Hi All. I am thinking about having my 2006 Coachmen Encore painted with Navarro Brothers in Los Algodones, Mexico. I have researched and have seen photos of their work. It looks really good and they get a lot of good reviews. The one thing I can't find is how much RV owners have paid to have their coaches painted there. The threads on here appear to be older. Has anyone out there had their coach painted recently by them and how much did they charge you. I got a price from them that seems really high and am hoping that it is their starting point for negotiation. It would be good to know what others have paid so I go in knowledgeably armed. Thanks in advance for any and all input. You guys are great!

After 1 email and 2 phone calls I confirmed on 5/17/21 to meet Enrique late morning on 5/18 to get an estimate. I arrived as arranged and called both his numbers at 10:30, 11 and 11:30 with different people answering each time and Enrique's location unknown. By 12:15 I was very irritated waiting in the sun with temps well into the 90's and headed back home. His call came in at 12:30. The bottom line is I drove 10 hours round trip for this appointment, spent $150 in fuel and wasted my the entire day. They may do great work but I would never trust my rig to a shop which treated me that way.

Well if he called you at 12:30, what was his excuse for not showing up?

Sorry guys, I winter in Yuma and 12:30 would put him right on time and may even make him early. You are trying to use gringo time, that just doesn't work in Mexico. If you do take your rig to Mexico, be sure to get Mexican insurance even if you are only going to be a little way into the country. Check with your insurance company, a few provide coverage within a border area. I'm not familiar with any full body paint shops in Algodones but I do see a number of MH with front and rear caps painted while parked in the Foothills area. No idea what they pay, but the work is done outside so I'm pretty sure it isn't up to US bodyshop standards. But they do look really good from 40'.

I was driving when he called and could not answer the call. His message was that he was then looking for me in the Casino lot and asked where I was. I called him back and got no answer. When I spoke with him the day before I drove down there I stressed to him that I was driving a long distance and it was important for him to be there. He knew I would call him but did not have either of his phones with him.
