Need fuel shortage info: VA, NC, SC

We’re planning to leave the Pocono Mountains, PA tomorrow and travel down Interstate 81. One stop in Lexington/Natural Bridge, VA before heading to Charleston, SC for a week. Then 5 days in Hatteras, NC before heading back to Poconos for Memorial Day weekend. Am willing to blow up the trip if fuel shortages are severe. Any advice appreciated!

in middle NC, earlier last week it was really bad, now a number of stations are getting regular, and some of the major stations along the interstate have diesel. Use gasbuddy to help determine availability with attention being paid to who and when the last report was for a station.

Expect to pay MORE!

Almost back to normal. Most stations have gas and there aren't any crazy lines. Just use gas buddy to double check, but you should be totally fine.

Seems to be almost back to normal in Northern and Central VA. As others have recommended, just use gas buddy to avoid any spots that have not restocked yet.
