Roughy i believe my fabric to measure 23.5 ish which i understand to be a 24ft awning. the shaft is 25ft and my model number is 848eh25.400 a@e 8500. im think the wrong size fabric is on it now, and i need to order a 25ft awning which actually measurements will be around 24.4ish[/IMG]

If you measure center of arm to center of arm, that is the awnings length, the fabric will be approximately 10" shorter. any supplier of awning fabric should just need the arm to arm dimension.
I replaced my own fabric this summer, ordered 17' and it was 16'-3" long.

Not hard to do, just have extra hands to do the job, two extra people is best.

Google Shadepro they are in the san diego area. They specialize in DIY awning fabric. Good fabric, price and people. Give them a call.
