New Here - Meet and Greet in Washington?
I couldn't find a better place to ask this question as I've seen several posts about the meetup in different forums. When I went back to search for them, I couldn't find them! So I thought I'd just ask here and hope someone can help me!
We live in the Tacoma area of Washington and I see that there is a meet and greet type outing this weekend at Deception Pass. We won't be bringing an RV, but can we stop in and say hey? Our RV is being delivered this week so we're going to be busy with that. We're going to be parked out at Camp Lakeview in Graham, Washington for the summer.
Let me know if we can just come to visit for a few hours. I'd like to meet some of you face to face!

I was going to it, but with the project being done on the truck, it just ain't going to happen .
However, I'll be in the Tacoma/Seattle area with my car on the 17-19th doing a "Men's Outting" with a buddy or two.

Dawn:
We live only about 4 miles from Thousand Trails, and haven't de-wintwerised yet because I was de-railed by spinal surgery. We'll be going in as "walk-ons" a couple of times.

My wife and I just traded in our FRED for a Pusher (2009 Journey 34Y) and planned to take it up to Fidalgo Bay resort this weekend to start to learn the ropes. We have not stayed at Pioneer Trails but passed it before on the way to Deception Point. We would just be there the 13th and 14th though. We just moved to Washington State and are looking to meet some camping friends. I will see if the wife is willing to change plans and go to Pioneer Trails. We like Fidalgo Bay due to the hike and bike trail and easy access to Anacortes.

Dave:
It's only about a mile and a half from Pioneer Trails to March's Point Road and you can pick up the Tommy Thompson Trail across the old railroad trestle into Anacortes from there.
Pioneer Trails is a much nicer campground, though we haven't actually stayed there. More trees, less like a parking lot.

OK, Dee and I are in on one condition ...
This will be the first time we take out our Diesel Pusher, just traded in our Damon Avanti (it was OK, but noisy, small, and quirky) for something bigger (quieter, and no doubt quirky as well). We could not get a pull through site at Pioneer Trails, so we will have to back in. NO LAUGHING AT ME, and especially NO LAUGHING EVEN LOUDER if I end up having Dee back it in!!!!! She was in the Marines and actually is much better at backing up big rigs than me :-)
We will just be their Friday and Saturday nights. We should be in spot A4 (but they said they did not guarantee the spot) but we will be in a Redish Journey 34Y and we will be hard to miss with our Golden Retriever and yappy Shetland Sheepdog and all the yelling when I try to back into the spot :-) Should be there around 4:00PM on Friday.

Ya'll bring pictures back and send me something . Between the delay on the tires I ordered in for the axle project and the lack of spare cash for gas, I'm not going to be able to make it :(.
