New LazyDays RV Store opening Next spring next to Camping World in Monticello MN

As said in the title it will be very interesting when LazyDays opens next to Camping World in my City. There is also another Rv Sales store Monticello RV accross the street.

My experience with Camping World in Monticello has been very good. I have had them work on my RV and Toad. Their Parts Department has been good to.

I have never dealt with LazyDays so I have no opinion on their service. I hope they are a good place, which will give me another option for service since it takes months for an appointment at Camping World right now.

Sounds like it's time for a battle between dealers. Personally, I would be more inclined to deal with the smaller privately owned dealer. That is if they survive the competition.
As far as the time it takes to get work done, that will not change. More sales and more units to work on. It's not the older ones that are clogging the service bays. It's the new ones that need all the bugs fixed.
You must be one of the few that have had good service at CW, or it is an unusual dealership.

Bought our MH from Burlington RV in Wisconsin. Called one day and got a Lazy Days answer on the phone. Hung up, was thinking who changed the number in my contacts. Called again, found out Burlington was bought out. We have got the few pending issue with the dealer taken care of, which went OK. One issue for me is when calling Lazy Days your call goes to a National switch board and then they send it to the dealer. When I call I want to go to the Dealer. I wonder when a big National chain is coming to the Louisville Ky. market which will include southern Indiana

The call centers are annoying. I agree that when you call you want someone local who knows the layout not someone who just started yesterday and is clueless. But these are the time we’re in and we better get used to it.

They already have, or did.

Some years back Tom Stinnett RV, in Clarksville, Indiana, became a Camping World location, but then changed back (at least to the original name). Wonder why that happened and who is the real owner?

Both are literally 7 miles on our way into town. Camping World has been fine with good accessory availability but no service work performed (originally in a Dodge dealer).
Monticello RV relocated from across the freeway to a brand new building. Deals exclusively in trailers/5ers. Nice people.

LazyDays purchased a former Chevy dealership building. They’ve been renovating it all summer. Great location. Thought they’d be open by now, I’m sure by spring. Great to have competition. I know nothing of LazyDays. Gonna be fun!!!

It's the staff that makes a business, not the name. Find a good one and hang on to them.

Stinnett is Camping Inn Store. This is a smaller group than Camping World.

As mentioned above, LazyDays recently bought Burlington RV, south of Milwaukee a couple months ago, where we bought our rig. I think they were the biggest dealer in Wisconsin. I don't know how many locations LazyDays has, but it sounds like they are on a mission!
Around here there aren't many mom and pop car dealers, they are all being bought up by local/regional chains. It seems that rv dealers are headed that way.
As a kind of a segway, we sometimes watch Josh, from Haylett rv on YouTube, and he just announced that Haylett sold out to Bish's RV.
