Should i be getting Email notifications when someone replies or starts a new thread..

If it's a thread that you have contributed to, yes.

If you want to get an email from a particular forum any time there is activity, just above the first topic in the forum, to the right you'll see Forum Tools - in that there is a option to subscribe to the forum.

Mike, this is an option. Here's how you set it.

Go to "User CP"at the far left of the dark green menu bar above.

Click on "Settings & Options"

Click on "Edit Options"

Click on "Messaging & Notifications"

Go to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and select whether or not you want to receive e-mails.
