new purchase
I am in the process of purchasing a 2007 safari trek from a large dealer. The service manager called me and mentioned that the dealership get ready includes ,6 new tires, new one piece windshield, new awning, and
new brake calipers and pads on all wheels,4 new batteries new dvd,,new attic fan, along with many other smaller fixes and adjustments.this is all part of the dealer used purchase get ready .Needless to say I am very impressed with this dealer.Does anybody have any pros or cons about a 2007 safari trek? I also would like to get the optional desk that would take the place of one of the chairs behind the driver cockpit seat ,any information would be welcome.

Sounds like a great buy and descent dealer if the price is right. Welcome to the forum and good luck. I've always liked the Trek....

Any chance of letting us know who this dealer is? Sounds too good to be true. Please let us know how everything turns out!

There is a great forum dedicated to Treks. The folks there are amazing - they know everything about Treks.

Before you buy check the DOT on the tires to see if he is shooting you straight. Jim

The dealer is LAZY DAYS . I saw the unit on the internet and put a refundable hold deposit on it,pending my personal review and test drive. I am supposed to meet with the dealer this Saturday for the final transaction.I was just formed buy the dealer about all the items that they are going to fix. I am wondering if the unit might have been pre owned by someone who didn't take good care of it as there are many broken items. Can anyone give me a idea as to how much the going price is for a 2007 trek with about $14000 worth of options on it ? The unit is on You Tube if any one wants to see it and give me any advice as I am a newbe to owning a rv.

Welcome to IRV2. I'm not surprised at what Lazy Days is doing for you. That's the way they do things. You'll also get a 30 day warranty ( if they still do that ) which I think is unusual. Good luck.

Welcome and glad to meet you!
Sounds like a great deal. X2 on checking the tires they are putting on. You don't want cheap tires on that rig.

Trek's are killer little coaches that offer alot of features. The forum offered above is priceless just as good as IRV2. We owned a 2005 and went anywhere we wanted with its small size.
