Nice looking rig! And that 6.0 will move her down the road in all the hurry she wants. It's a great motor and Fords first "in house" diesel. But those TTY head bolts Ford used were not one of their better ideas and have caused enough money and grief that I would recommend getting it addressed before she heads out. There's plenty of documentation on it. Once that's sorted out that 6.0 becomes as reliable as a rock with one of the best trannys ever put in a truck. That should get her to Alaska and back easily.
A warranty ain't worth crap on the side of the road in the middle of bumphuk with no phone service.
