I have started a new web site to help me and others find products that are needed for RVs. I have opened it up to anyone who would like this info. The site is www.everything4rvs.com Please check it out and let me know what you think.

I would suggest (as a professional website designer myself) that before you go live, you have someone else proof read your site. For example, your spelling of "forums".
I apologize if that sounds picky, but I'm a stickler for correctness.

Maybe to give him a chance? Even a professional can (and has) gone wrong. It is stated near the top of his page, "This site is still under construction. Check back daily to see our progress!" ...this should mean something, right?

Tip #1, never use HTML files with spaces in their name.
Tip #2, Create an Intro Page that introduces the site in a short description (this should be your root index.html/default.html file), and then provides links to the main areas, or super Category Links, for example, if you have multiple items that would be listed under the Appliance heading, you'd just supply a link to Appliances on the front page. Clutter tends to frustrate people trying to find things on a site, and will send them off in short order.
Tip #3, Stay away from Using Java at all possible on pages. Java is a very clunky, and slow loading interpreter language and usually is only needed in unique situations, like an embedded chatroom application.

I think it is a great. I will be watching it as it grow. Thank you for your effort. This is from a person who enjoys my RV, not a professional.
Thank you again,
Dick

It was meant to be a helpful suggestion. I know from experience that sometimes it's easy to get too close to a project and not see the obvious.

Are you using Mozilla Foxfire? I can't access the site with Mozilla. Try Internet Explorer.
