I have a rig with a Salvage Title- it's "model year" is the year the Title was issued: 2009!
That's about 40 years after it rolled off the production line...
If I wasn't such a cheapskate,
I'd love to "prove" to one of these places that I fit within the guidelines

Some parks can and do have year restrictions and do enforce them. Some "resorts" also restrict class C's and trailers. I can understand why they may choose to do that. Just like some communities don't allow pets, kids, or are over 55 only, after all they are privately owned. The answer is don't spend your money at a park if you don't like their restrictions. What I personally don't like is the "subject to inspection rule" eather you do or you don't, but thats just me.
Pretty much like some communites; they don't like RVs period; and ban them all.
Accepting the fact that private resort owners have the right to set up any rules they want, I am very curious to know what their rationale is behind specifically the Class A only restriction. Anyone know?
Must be a marketing thing- makes their target market feel special.
I have a bit of sympathy for those great big rigs, to tell you the truth.
There are so many places that I can go that they can't!
I spend most of my trailer time camped in places that I have all to myself because the road's too narrow, rough, or muddy for class A's. (Or B's or C's, for that matter)
And they wouldn't have room to turn around at camp even if they COULD make it there.
I guess it's O.K. with me if they have a place that I can't go, too!
But I'll bet my scenery beats theirs, hands down.
I'll go with Francesca. I go places that Class A's will never fit. See more country that isn't a freeway or main road areas. I've not been to resort parks, but those parks I have attended don't usually ask the year except on the registration form after I fill it in after parking on my assigned space. They seem happy to just get the business. My rig is clean and not torn up.
