I only name things if they "speak" to me. Only one of my cars ever got named. "Chrissie" would often strand other people when they borrowed my car. She always got me home, even if she needed the occasional push start. After I gave her to a friend to take to the junk yard where he worked, his house was hit by a tornado. A week later I saw him driving Chrissie. She had managed to survive unscathed while his other cars were undriveable.

Here in Bermuda it is traditional to name a house. Houses tend to remain with familys for generations.
Boats get names to. Some with a story behind the name. "Debt Finder", "Rock Smasher", "The Itch".
We have a boat, named of course, & a name for the RV. What makes us unusual is that we have the name ON the back of the RV, & yes there is a story behind the name.

Wow, an RV in Bermuda? It must occupy 10% of the island. 😊

We call our motorhome "RoVer". Best one I've seen is "Wheel Estate".

Ours is just "Expensive" as are all RV's and boats. Enjoyed the boats especially the first day we bought them and then the day we sold them!

Ours was naturally named "Minnie" since that was already written on both sides in large letters. What made it official was when I found decals of Minnie Pearl's hat, complete with price tag, and hung one from the corner of each "M".

Best one I ever saw was driven by a young good looking lady, and was on her license plate, reading "Was His."
