I just purchased a 2012 35QBA Open road, I have no 110V when plugged into shore power, I have a surge protector and all seems fine except no 110V in the coach but when I start genny I get 110V in RV. Breakers are fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated Al

Auto transfer switch bad if you have one. If you don't have one then you may have to transfer the end of the incoming powercord to a plug in inside the rig.

Is this surge protector a hardwired unit or does it plug into the pedistal? Does the power from the generator also go through the surge protector? If not perhaps the surge protector is blown. Do you know what brand is it?
Thanks for your replies, yes the surge protector is hardwired, it has a digital read out and says Line1 125V L2 126V, so I think I should look inside the transfer switch, what should I be looking for?? Thanks Al
I found the problem to no 110 Volts, the power extension cord that I purchased from camping world had reverse polarity, changed cords and all is fine. Thanks for your replies Al
